Artisan Sourdough Bread: Hands-On - May 2024

Sat, May 18 | 10am-12:30pm
Snuck Farm, Pleasant Grove, UT.

More and more people are becoming drawn towards the love of natural yeast for its unbeatable taste and health benefits. After crafting countless loaves of bread, Lori, from Lo's Kitchen, wanted to eliminate all the sourdough myths out there - rumors that it's hard, time-consuming, or complicated. Her mission is to bring the love and ease of sourdough into every home, opening up the idea that it truly is a bread for every skill level and every schedule.

In this hands-on workshop, you will make your own loaf of sourdough to then take home and bake. Lori will demonstrate how to take care of a starter, how to add fun mix-ins to your dough, and ways to score the loaf prior to baking. You will leave with inspiration to incorporate sourdough more into your everyday, prepared dough to bake at home, and a sourdough starter from Lori's starter she uses daily.

What to expect:
- Inspiring and practical insights to strengthen your sourdough skills
- Small class setting for an enhanced hands-on experience
- A batch of dough prepared by you to take home and bake
- Delicious tasting of several different flavors of sourdough and spreads from the farm in a cozy setting
- Tour of Snuck's hydro greenhouse
